Arches Homestead is a veteran owned, family run small farm with miniature donkeys, chickens and fruit trees. Our academy offer various hands-on biology classes to reach the next generation and develop a love for the animals, plants and environment around use, teaching them to be good stewards and engaged scientists.
Mini Donkeys
We started our mini donkey farm with 2 donkeys, Bo and Bailey Christmas of 2022. We welcomed our first foal in June of 2023 and now have 2 more breeding jennies, Bella and Beckum. Our donkeys are very friendly and love snuggles and getting treats from us. If you're looking to add a sweet mini donkey to your farm, let us know. We sell our new foals usually December-January each year.
Chickens
These ladies are living their best life, free ranging during the day and providing us eggs as well as modeling for our Biology Basics course. If you're looking for farm fresh eggs, let us know!
The Land
Across our 9 acres, we have a creek, fields, a garden, and an orchard. In addition to produce, the land serves as a classroom as students learn about the trees, water, plants, fungi and all of the critters native to our land.
